This Policy explains how APNCloud uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies. It should be read together with the APNCloud Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Non-essential technologies are used only where permitted and, where required, after the appropriate consent.

    1. About This Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how APN CLOUD LTD ("APNCloud", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies when you visit, browse, register for, log in to, purchase from, or otherwise interact with APNCloud websites and online services. This includes our main website at apncloud.com, our client and billing area at account.apncloud.com, and other APNCloud pages that link to this Cookie Policy.

This Cookie Policy is intended to give visitors and customers clear information about what cookies are, why they may be used, what choices are available, and how cookie preferences can be changed. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy, and any other privacy or service notice that applies to a particular APNCloud service.

Cookies and similar technologies can support essential website functions such as account sign-in, shopping-cart operation, fraud prevention, security, billing sessions, language or currency preferences, and service configuration. Other technologies may be used, where enabled and permitted, to understand website performance, improve user experience, measure campaigns, or provide embedded third-party services. We aim to use such technologies transparently and to provide meaningful controls where consent is required.

    2. Who We Are and How to Contact Us

APNCloud is operated by APN CLOUD LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom. Our registered office is 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, England, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. Company number: 17284647. APNCloud also maintains operational support arrangements in Bangladesh through Nextway IT Solutions, House #1647/01, Modina Masjid, Jahurul Nagar, Bogura - 5800, Bangladesh.

Questions about this Cookie Policy, privacy, cookie consent, or the use of storage and access technologies may be sent to [email protected]. Where a privacy-specific contact method or data-protection request form is made available on our website, you may also use that method. Please provide enough information for us to understand the website, device, browser, and issue involved, but do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive credentials.

    3. What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file or data item that a website can place on, or read from, a computer, smartphone, tablet, or other device. Cookies can store identifiers, preferences, session information, or other values that allow a website to recognize a browser or maintain continuity between page requests.

Cookies do not all work in the same way. Some exist only for the duration of a browser session and are deleted when the browser is closed. Others remain for a defined period or until they are deleted. Some are set directly by APNCloud, while others may be set by third-party providers whose technology is used on a page, such as a payment service, security service, embedded media provider, analytics provider, or customer-support tool.

The term "cookies" in this Policy also includes similar storage and access technologies where appropriate. These may include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, software development kit identifiers, device or browser identifiers, and comparable technologies that store information on a device or obtain information from it. The legal rules applicable to these technologies may vary by location and purpose.

    4. Legal and Consent Framework

For users in the United Kingdom, cookies and similar storage or access technologies are principally regulated by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended, together with relevant data-protection law where personal data is processed. APNCloud seeks to follow the applicable requirements as they change over time.

Where consent is required, we aim to request it before placing or accessing non-essential technologies. Consent should be based on a clear choice. Depending on the configuration of our website, visitors may be given options to accept non-essential cookies, reject them, or select categories. Strictly necessary technologies may operate without consent where an applicable legal exemption permits this because they are needed to provide a service requested by the user, maintain security, complete a transaction, or perform another genuinely essential function.

Where a technology processes personal data, the relevant processing is also addressed in our Privacy Policy. Cookie consent and the lawful basis for processing personal data are related but distinct concepts. We therefore assess both the storage/access rule and the data-protection rule that applies to the associated processing.

For visitors outside the United Kingdom, additional local rules may apply. Where reasonably required, APNCloud may adapt its consent banner, cookie controls, disclosures, or default settings based on the visitor's location or the services being used. Nothing in this Policy is intended to reduce rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable privacy or consumer law.

    5. Types of Cookies and Similar Technologies We May Use

APNCloud may use the categories below. The exact technologies present on a particular page can depend on the features enabled at that time, whether you are logged in, your consent choices, the payment method selected, and the third-party integrations active on the page.

Strictly Necessary Cookies. These technologies are required for core functions of the website or a service you have requested. They may support secure login, authentication, account sessions, shopping-cart contents, checkout state, fraud prevention, load balancing, security controls, form submission, cookie-consent records, or other essential operations. Disabling them through browser settings may cause parts of the website, client area, ordering system, or checkout to stop working correctly.

Functional and Preference Cookies. These technologies may remember selections such as language, currency, interface preferences, region, display settings, or other choices that make the website easier to use. Depending on applicable law and the specific function, some preference technologies may require consent while others may fall within an exemption when they are necessary to provide a feature specifically requested by the visitor.

Analytics and Performance Cookies. Where enabled with appropriate permission, analytics technologies may help us understand how pages are used, which pages are popular, how visitors navigate, whether errors occur, how quickly pages load, and how the website can be improved. We may use aggregated or pseudonymous information for reporting and performance analysis. We do not intend to use optional analytics technologies before consent where consent is legally required.

Marketing and Measurement Cookies. Where enabled, these technologies may be used to understand the effectiveness of advertising or marketing campaigns, limit repeated advertisements, attribute visits to campaigns, or support relevant promotional measurement. These technologies are optional where consent is required. APNCloud does not treat continued browsing by itself as consent where a clear positive choice is required.

Security and Fraud-Prevention Technologies. We may use cookies, device signals, session identifiers, risk indicators, IP-related information, or similar technologies to help detect suspicious activity, protect accounts, reduce automated abuse, prevent unauthorized transactions, enforce rate limits, or maintain the integrity of our services. Some of these technologies may be strictly necessary for security, while others will be evaluated according to their purpose and applicable legal requirements.

Support and Communication Technologies. If APNCloud provides live chat, ticket widgets, support forms, status tools, or similar features, the underlying service may use cookies or local storage to maintain a conversation, remember a session, or prevent duplicate requests. Where a third-party support provider is used, that provider may act according to its own privacy and cookie terms in addition to APNCloud's instructions.

    6. First-Party and Third-Party Cookies

First-party cookies are set by the APNCloud domain you are visiting. They may be used to maintain a logged-in session, preserve cart contents, store consent preferences, remember interface choices, or perform other website functions.

Third-party cookies or technologies may be set or accessed by a separate service provider whose functionality appears on or is called by an APNCloud page. For example, a third-party payment processor, anti-fraud provider, content-delivery or security provider, analytics service, embedded video service, or support platform may receive technical information when its service is loaded or used.

Third-party providers control their own technologies and may update them independently. APNCloud seeks to select reputable providers and to configure integrations appropriately, but the provider's own privacy or cookie notice may provide additional information about its processing. A third-party technology is not necessarily present on every APNCloud page simply because the provider is mentioned in this Policy.

    7. Session Cookies and Persistent Cookies

Session cookies generally exist only while a browser session remains active. They can be useful for maintaining authentication, preserving an order as you move between pages, remembering information entered into a multi-step form, or protecting a session against misuse.

Persistent cookies remain after the browser closes for a defined period unless deleted earlier. They may be used, for example, to remember cookie-consent choices, selected preferences, security settings, or—where permitted—analytics or measurement information. The duration varies according to the purpose of the technology and may be changed when a service provider or configuration changes.

We aim not to retain cookie-derived information longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is used. Retention of personal data generated through cookies is also governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.

    8. APNCloud Website, Client Area, WHMCS, Cart and Login Functions

APNCloud uses a client, billing, ordering, and account-management environment to provide hosting and related services. Essential technologies may be required to operate account registration, secure sign-in, client sessions, order forms, invoices, support tickets, service management, domain registration workflows, shopping-cart contents, and checkout.

For example, when you add a hosting plan, domain, software license, or another service to a cart, a session technology may be necessary to remember the selected item while you move to another page. When you sign in to the Client Area, authentication and security technologies may be necessary to keep you signed in during the session and to protect account actions.

These essential technologies are used to deliver functions requested by the user and may not be available for category-level disabling through our consent tool. You can still configure your browser to block them, but doing so may prevent registration, login, ordering, payment, ticket submission, or other account functions from working.

    9. Domain Search and Service Ordering

Domain search, registration, transfer, renewal, and hosting-order features may rely on temporary session information to maintain the search or purchase flow. For example, the website may need to remember a domain entered into a search box, the hosting product selected, a billing cycle, currency, configured options, or a cart identifier.

Where these values are strictly required to carry out an action requested by the user, they may be treated as essential. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are also used on an order page, those technologies will remain subject to the consent rules that apply to their purpose.

    10. Payment and Checkout Technologies

APNCloud may offer different payment methods depending on country, currency, service, risk review, technical availability, or commercial arrangements. Payment services may include card processors, wallet providers, bank-transfer providers, or Merchant of Record services. Where available, providers may include services such as Stripe, PayPal, Paddle, Skrill, Wise, or other payment partners. Not every provider is necessarily available at all times or to every customer.

When you choose a third-party payment option, the provider may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, fraud detection, security, checkout continuity, payment authorization, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, or user preferences. Some payment technologies may be essential to complete the payment method you selected. If you are redirected to a provider's website, that provider's own cookie and privacy policies will apply to activity on its domain.

APNCloud does not use payment-provider cookies as a way to obtain your full payment-card details when those details are collected directly by the payment provider. Payment processing and personal-data disclosures are further explained in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Because payment platforms can change their technical implementations, cookie names and durations used by a payment provider may change without APNCloud controlling those changes. We therefore encourage users who want provider-specific details to review the privacy and cookie information presented by the selected payment provider during checkout.

    11. Security, Network Protection and Abuse Prevention

Hosting businesses face automated login attempts, malicious bots, credential attacks, payment fraud, spam, and other forms of abuse. APNCloud may therefore use security measures that involve session information, browser signals, device information, IP addresses, request patterns, or similar technical data.

Security technologies may help distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse, protect administrative and client-area pages, enforce rate limits, preserve session integrity, identify repeated failed login attempts, or reduce fraudulent orders. Where a security technology is strictly necessary to provide a secure service requested by the user, it may operate without optional-cookie consent to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Security data is not an invitation for unrestricted profiling. APNCloud seeks to limit security processing to reasonable and proportionate purposes connected with protecting accounts, infrastructure, payments, customers, and the public from abuse.

    12. Analytics, Performance and Website Improvement

If APNCloud enables analytics, we may collect information such as page views, approximate referral source, device or browser type, page load performance, navigation paths, errors, and interaction with website features. We use this information to understand how the site performs, improve navigation, identify broken pages, prioritize improvements, and evaluate whether content is useful.

Where analytics requires consent, we will seek that consent before activating the relevant technology. If you reject analytics cookies, essential services should remain available, although APNCloud may receive less information about how the website is being used.

Analytics data may be aggregated or pseudonymized where reasonably possible. The use of an analytics provider does not mean APNCloud intends to sell personal browsing data. Further information about data sharing and service providers is set out in our Privacy Policy.

    13. Marketing, Affiliate and Campaign Measurement

APNCloud may operate promotions, referral programs, affiliate arrangements, or online advertising. Where optional marketing or campaign-measurement technologies are used, they may help identify that a visit or purchase followed a particular campaign or referral link, measure conversions, prevent duplicate attribution, or provide aggregate marketing reports.

Marketing and cross-site tracking technologies can be more privacy-intrusive than essential cookies. Where consent is required, APNCloud will not intentionally set such technologies until the visitor has made the required positive choice. Rejecting marketing cookies should not prevent access to core APNCloud hosting or account services.

Affiliate or referral identifiers may sometimes be necessary to record that a customer arrived through a specific referral link. The legal treatment can depend on how the technology operates and what information it accesses. APNCloud will configure such systems in line with applicable requirements and will provide consent choices where necessary.

    14. Embedded Content and External Websites

APNCloud pages may contain links to third-party websites or may, from time to time, embed content such as videos, maps, documentation tools, social-media content, status widgets, or other external resources. Loading embedded content can allow the external provider to receive technical information about the browser or device and may cause third-party cookies or similar technologies to be used.

Where practical and legally required, optional embedded services may be blocked until the relevant consent is provided. Alternatively, APNCloud may provide a normal external link so that users can choose whether to visit the third-party site. Once you leave APNCloud and visit an external website, that site's privacy and cookie rules apply.

    15. Cookie Consent Banner and Preference Controls

Where required, APNCloud uses or may use a cookie consent interface to provide information and choices about non-essential categories. The banner or preference center may allow you to accept all optional categories, reject non-essential categories, or make more granular choices.

We record the preference you select so that we do not need to ask for the same choice on every page or every visit.

You can normally revisit your choice using a "Cookie Preferences", "Privacy Settings", or similar link where that control is provided in the website footer or consent interface. If you delete all browser cookies, use a different browser or device, clear site data, or use private-browsing mode, the website may no longer remember your earlier choice and may ask again.

If APNCloud materially changes the way optional cookies are used, introduces a new purpose that requires consent, or the law requires renewed consent, we may ask you to update or reconfirm your preferences.

    16. How to Manage Cookies Through Your Browser

Most modern browsers allow users to view, delete, block, or restrict cookies and site storage. Browser controls vary, but they are commonly found under privacy, security, site data, tracking protection, or cookie settings.

You may be able to block all cookies, block third-party cookies, delete cookies when the browser closes, clear cookies for a particular website, or receive a prompt before certain storage is used. Some browsers also provide tracking-protection features that restrict known tracking technologies.

Blocking all cookies can have significant consequences. Essential APNCloud features such as secure login, shopping carts, checkout sessions, domain ordering, client-area navigation, and support forms may fail or behave unpredictably. For this reason, a category-based consent tool is often a more practical way to reject optional technologies while allowing essential functionality.

Because browser interfaces are frequently updated, APNCloud does not provide fixed step-by-step instructions for every browser in this Policy. Please consult the current help documentation for your browser or device for the most accurate instructions.

    17. Global Privacy Signals and Do Not Track

Browsers and privacy tools may send signals intended to communicate a user's tracking preference. Technical standards and legal requirements concerning such signals continue to develop and can differ by jurisdiction.

Where APNCloud is legally required to recognize a supported signal, we will seek to do so. Where a signal does not have a clear legal or technical effect, our cookie preference controls remain the primary method for communicating choices about optional cookies on APNCloud websites. We may update this section as standards become more widely adopted or legally defined.

    18. Retention and Expiration

Cookie duration depends on purpose. Authentication and cart technologies may expire at the end of a session or after a short security period. Preference or consent records may remain longer so that the website can remember a user's choices. Optional analytics or measurement technologies, where used, may have different retention periods set by APNCloud or the relevant provider.

We seek to configure retention periods that are proportionate to the purpose. Expiration of a cookie does not necessarily determine how long all associated server-side records are retained. Server logs, billing records, fraud-prevention records, support records, or analytics reports may have separate retention periods described in our Privacy Policy or required by law.

Where a third party controls the technology, that party may determine its own cookie duration. We may periodically review third-party integrations and update configuration or remove technologies that are no longer needed.

    19. International Data Transfers and Third-Party Providers

Some providers supporting APNCloud may process technical data in countries other than the country in which a visitor is located. If cookie-derived information constitutes personal data and is transferred internationally, APNCloud will address the transfer in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements and the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

For more information about categories of recipients, international transfers, data-protection rights, and how to contact us about personal data, please see the APNCloud Privacy Policy.

    20. Your Privacy Rights

Cookie choices are one part of your broader privacy rights. Depending on where you live and the processing involved, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or complaints to a supervisory authority.

Withdrawing cookie consent does not make earlier processing unlawful where valid consent applied at the time. It also does not require us to disable strictly necessary technologies that are lawfully used without consent. If you withdraw consent for an optional category, we will seek to stop future use of that category on the relevant browser or device, subject to technical implementation and any cookies already controlled by third parties.

Requests concerning personal data should be made using the contact details in our Privacy Policy or by contacting [email protected]. We may need to verify the identity of a requester before disclosing or deleting personal data.

    21. Cookie and Technology Summary

The table below describes the principal categories that may appear on APNCloud websites. It is a category-level summary rather than a guarantee that every listed category is active on every page. A live cookie preference center or current technical scan, where available, may provide more specific information about technologies active at that time.

Category Typical Purpose Typical Status Typical Duration
Strictly Necessary Login, sessions, cart, checkout, security, consent record Normally essential Session to limited persistent period
Functional / Preferences Currency, interface, language or requested preferences Essential or optional depending on purpose Session or persistent
Analytics / Performance Usage statistics, errors, navigation and performance Optional where consent is required Varies by provider/configuration
Marketing / Measurement Campaign attribution, affiliate or advertising measurement Optional where consent is required Varies by provider/configuration
Security / Fraud Prevention Account protection, risk detection, abuse prevention Often essential where genuinely necessary Session or risk-based period
Payment / Checkout Authentication, payment security, authorization and fraud checks Depends on selected payment method Controlled by APNCloud/provider
Embedded / Third-Party Video, support, external widgets or content Usually optional unless necessary for requested feature Varies by provider

Important: Cookie names, providers, and expiration periods can change when APNCloud updates its website, billing platform, security configuration, payment methods, or third-party integrations. Where a live cookie preference center is available, it should be treated as the most current technical description of optional cookie categories active on that browser.

    22. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law, regulatory guidance, website technology, payment services, security tools, analytics configuration, business operations, or third-party providers. The "Last Updated" date at the beginning of the Policy will show when the current version was issued.

If a change materially affects how optional technologies are used or requires a new consent choice, we may display an updated banner, request renewed consent, or provide another appropriate notice. Minor changes, formatting improvements, contact updates, or clarifications may be published without a separate notification where permitted.

We encourage visitors to review this Policy periodically, especially after changes to browser settings, privacy preferences, or APNCloud services.

    23. Contact and Complaints

If you have questions about cookies, consent choices, tracking technologies, or privacy on APNCloud websites, please contact us at [email protected]. You may also use the contact or support options made available through apncloud.com or account.apncloud.com.

Where applicable law gives you the right to complain to a data-protection authority, you may exercise that right. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to understand and address a concern directly where appropriate.

This Cookie Policy is intended to be transparent and practical. It does not override rights that apply under mandatory law, and it should be interpreted together with the APNCloud Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
